JCA Indoor Tape-ball TOURNAMENT

RULES AND INFORMATION

1. 1. RESPECT

   2. 6 players a side, match can be played with minimum 4 players.

   3. Every team needs to be at the specific hall at least 15 minutes before the match start time.

   4. After waiting 5 minutes of match actual starting time, walkover will be given against the team on not appearing in the respective hall.

   5. White kit is not allowed as we are using white tape.

   6. All matches will consist of 5 overs with over limit of 2 overs per bowler.

   7. Final match will consist of 6 overs with over limit of 2 overs per bowler.

   8. 1 run by running = 1 runs

   9. There is no LBW so there is no LB Scores.

   10. Hitting the roof = Not out on catch, run(s) can be taken by running.

   11. Hitting the side wall = 1 run, Not out on catch, run(s) can be taken by running.

   12. Hitting the audience in D Hall = 2 runs only.

   13. Wide ball = 2 runs + Ball will be counted legal ball except last over.

   14. Wide ball in last over = 2 runs + Ball will be delivered again.

   15. No ball = 2 runs + Ball again + Free hit.

   16. Only front/straight wall is boundary (direct hit without deflection from walls and roof).

   17. Overthrow score by running only.

   18. Beamer is directly a NO ball.

   19. In the event of tie, team losing less number of wickets will be the winner. If the runs and the number of wickets are same then the match will be decided on the “Golden Ball”. The batsman who faced the last delivery will play the Golden Ball and at least 2 runs will be require to win the match on that one legal ball.

   20. Decision of the umpires regarding on field issues and managing committee regarding other issues will be final.
